This update aims to provide housing solutions that cater to the needs of Saudi families by enabling new categories of citizens to benefit from housing support
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Municipalities and Housing (MOMAH) put forth a draft amendment to the executive regulations for housing support for public consultation through the Istilaa platform until Sept. 4.
This update aims to provide housing solutions that cater to the needs of Saudi families by enabling new categories of citizens to benefit from housing support, according to a ministerial statement.
This is achieved by facilitating eligibility requirements by reducing the minimum age for married applicants to 20 years old.
Additionally, the amendments entail the abolition of the sustenance requirement for divorced wives and mothers seeking housing support, reflecting the flexibility of this update and its responsiveness to the social reality of Saudi families, it added.
