Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Municipalities and Housing (MOMAH) put forth a draft amendment to the executive regulations for housing support for public consultation through the Istilaa platform until Sept. 4.

This is achieved by facilitating eligibility requirements by reducing the minimum age for married applicants to 20 years old.

Additionally, the amendments entail the abolition of the sustenance requirement for divorced wives and mothers seeking housing support, reflecting the flexibility of this update and its responsiveness to the social reality of Saudi families, it added.
