Saudi Arabia's chemical exports grow to SAR 6.7B in June

Saudi Arabia's exports of chemical industry and related products grew 9% year-on-year (YoY) to nearly SAR 6.72 billion in June 2025.

 

Compared to May 2025, the chemicals exports decreased by SAR 491 billion, or 7%.

 

Chemicals and related products made up 24.5% of the total SAR 27.5 billion non-oil exports in June 2025.

 

 

India topped the list of chemicals importers from Saudi Arabia at nearly SAR 1.41 billion, or 21% of the total, in June. It was followed by China with 14% and Brazil with 7%, as shown in the table below:

Saudi Arabia’s imports of chemical industry and related products reached SAR 6.4 billion in June, up 10% YoY.

  

Chemical imports accounted for 9% of the total imports of SAR 70 billion.
