The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) initiated several criminal and administrative proceedings following 1,851 oversight visits conducted in August.
Nazaha investigated 416 accused persons and arrested 138, some of whom were released on bail, for their involvement in charges of bribery and abuse of official position.
The suspects are employees in the ministries of interior, defense, national guard, municipalities and housing, human resources and social development, education, health, industry and mineral resources, and ZATCA.
