US markets on official holiday today

US markets are closed on Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of Labor Day, and will resume work tomorrow.

 

US stocks close last week’s trading in red, recording a weekly loss, albeit achieving monthly gains in August.

 

Investors' focus this week is on the US non-farm payrolls report (NFP) for August, which will be released on Friday and could significantly impact the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision at its meeting later this month.
