Wafrah for Industry and Development Co. said that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with Jordan’s Al-Daman for Investment Co. to establish frozen French fries plant ended without an agreement.

The project may not be economically feasible, Wafrah said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

On Aug. 28, 2024, Wafrah signed a MoU with Al-Daman to outline the cooperation framework between the two parties to establish a frozen French fries production plant in Jordan. The MoU was extended in March to study economic feasibility in the Jordanian market.
