Najran Cement Co.’s board of directors appointed Ataa Bakkar as Acting CEO for six months, starting Oct. 1, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

Bakkar has 22 years of experience in the cement and building materials industries, having held several senior leadership roles.

 

He holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

 

According to data available on Argaam, Najran Cement Co.’s board of directors approved in August the request of Abdulsalam Aldraibi to terminate the contractual relationship as CEO by mutual consent, effective Sept. 30, 2025, due to personal reasons.
