Saudi Fisheries' Chairman Abdulaziz Al-Humaid earlier undertook to retain his 25% stake for a one-year period, starting Sept. 15, 2024
The shares retention period for Saudi Fisheries Co.’s (Alasmak) Chairman and majority shareholder Abdulaziz Al-Humaid will end on Sept. 15.
On Sept. 15, 2024, Al-Humaid undertook to retain his shares, which represent 25% of the company’s capital, for one year.
Al-Humaid owns 1.68 million shares, making up a 25% stake.
In August 2024, Saudi Fisheries was notified by its shareholder Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Co. (SALIC) of the sale of its entire 40% stake (16 million shares) in the former to Al-Humaid for SAR 122.4 million.
Al-Humaid's ownership in the company stood at 40% on Aug. 29, 2024, then fell to 25% on Sept. 12, 2024.
