Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co. said work is underway on its solar power purchase project with French utility Engie, with completion expected in Q3 2026.

In a Tadawul statement today, Al-Jouf Agricultural said delays stemmed from its inclusion in the Ministry of Energy’s Liquid Fuel Displacement Program, which required design and technical changes to the project’s electrical connections to ensure compliance with program standards and grid requirements.
