Lana wins 3 projects worth SAR 10.6M from Health Ministry

Lana Medical Co. was awarded three projects by the Ministry of Health, totaling SAR 10.56 million.

 

The first project, which is valued at SAR 7.76 million, is for the collection and storage of hazardous healthcare waste consumables for King Fahad Hospital and Medical Tower in Al Baha, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

The second project involves transporting hazardous healthcare waste from healthcare facilities in the Al Baha Region, at a value of SAR 1.22 million.

 

The third project is for hazardous healthcare waste supply for King Fahad Hospital in Al Baha, with a value of SAR 1.58 million.

 

The duration of the three projects is 60 months, effective as of site handover after the contract is signed. The contract also must be ratified by the Ministry of Finance, according to the project documents, specifications, and bills of quantities.

 

The company expects the related financial impact to appear in Q1 2026.

 

The company claims that these projects are a crucial part of its strategy to increase the scope of integrated waste management services it offers to the healthcare industry, with a focus on:

 

1- Improving the quality of environmental services.

 

2- Implementing global best practices in waste management.

 

3- Supporting national initiatives to reduce pollution and promote public health.

 

4- Achieving sustainability and reducing the environmental impact resulting from transportation and disposal operations.

 

This award is an extension of Lana's strategy to strengthen its leadership in the Kingdom’s environmental services sector and to contribute effectively to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in the field of environmental sustainability, said the company.

 

It also demonstrates Lana's ability to carry out major projects within healthcare facilities according to the highest technical and operational standards, it added.

 

There are no related parties to the projects, the statement added.
