Saudi Arabia's chemical exports grow 1% to SAR 6.6B in July

Saudi Arabia's exports of chemical industry and related products rose by 1% year-on-year (YoY) to nearly SAR 6.6 billion in July.

 

Compared to July 2024, Saudi chemical exports decreased by SAR 198 million, or 3%.

 

Chemicals and related products made up 20% of July’s SAR 33.7 billion in non-oil exports.

 

India topped the list of chemicals importers from Saudi Arabia at nearly SAR 2 billion, or 30% of the total, in July. It was followed by China with 12% and the UAE with 7%, as shown in the table below:

Saudi Arabia’s imports of chemical industry and related products reached SAR 6.9 billion in July, down 9% YoY.

 

Chemical imports accounted for 9% of the total imports of SAR 75.5 billion.
