Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman AlFadley inaugurating two poultry production and processing plants
Tanmiah Food Co. today inaugurated a modern poultry products plant in Al-Majmaah (Majma’ah 2) and an advanced feed plant in Al-Dahnah Center, Shaqra Governorate, Riyadh.
These add to the company’s existing operations, which include 7 hatcheries, 4 feed plants, and 5 primary processing plants (slaughterhouses).
The official inauguration ceremony was held at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Riyadh.
The Majmah plant has a production capacity of 13,500 birds per hour.
According to the company’s statement, the "Majmah 2" poultry plant was designed to the highest international standards, integrating the latest systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency. It is equipped with advanced systems capable of handling large birds and includes a biological wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 6,000 cubic meters per day.
Tanmiah has implemented comprehensive quality systems and plans to operate the facility using renewable energy, including solar panels.
The plant will also feature a dedicated product innovation section, producing a wide range of Tanmiah products, most notably the “Secrets of Taste” product line.
Tanmiah added that the Al-Dahnah feed plant will strengthen the company’s integrated business model by supplying its poultry operations with high-quality feed. The facility is currently in the pilot production phase, with a capacity of 40 metric tons per hour, and is strategically located near key agricultural areas to bolster operational and logistical efficiency.
The feed plant is equipped with a fully automated production line and a quality control system, and the company is currently assessing the integration of solar energy into its operations.
