Mouwasat finalizes Yanbu Hospital construction works, kicks off trial ops

Mouwasat Medical Services Co. announced completing the construction works for the Mouwasat Hospital project in Yanbu Industrial City (YIC).

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that it began a 90-day pilot operation, in addition to commencing all necessary tests for the structural and medical systems starting September 29, 2025, for a period of ninety days.

The actual start-up date will be announced after obtaining the necessary final approvals from the Ministry of Health, the company added.

 

According to data available with Argaam, Mouwasat signed a SAR 295 million construction contract in June 2022 for the development of the Mouwasat Hospital project in YIC.

 

The company aims to establish and operate a fully integrated hospital in the Al Sawari district of YIC, with an investment of SAR 500 million, spanning 40,000 square meters. The hospital will feature 200 beds and 60 clinics.

 

Last February, the company announced that construction work on the project had reached 75% completion, anticipating that work would be completed by Q3 2025.
