Al-Modawat Specialized Medical Co. started on Oct. 4 operations at 25% of the extended inpatient ward in the Eastern Wing of its main hospital building.

Full operations are expected to commence this month, according to a statement to Tadawul.

This aligned with the company’s expansion plans to meet the growing demand for healthcare services.

The relevant financial impact will likely appear as of Q4 2025 through Q1 2026.

This aligned with the company’s strategic objectives to enhance its capacity, improve the quality of patient care, and keep pace with the rising demand for healthcare services.

In March 2024, Al-Modawat’s board of directors approved the hospital expansion project, in response to the rising occupancy rates, with an estimated cost of SAR 3.2 million. The expansion is expected to increase the number of inpatient rooms by 23% and the number of medical clinics by 12%, Argaam reported.
