Tesla shares rose in premarket trading on Monday after the company teased a major upcoming event scheduled for Oct. 7, sparking speculation for a new product launch.
The stock climbed by 2.5% to $440.51 at 1:45 pm Makkah time, after finishing the previous session down 1.4%.
The US-basrd electric car maker showed off a car with illuminated headlights in a darkened space, in a 10-second video posted on its X platform.
In a separate video, it hinted at an event scheduled for Tuesday.
Tesla stock received a boost after the company announced last week that its total deliveries rose 7.4% to 497,100 vehicles in the third quarter of this year, while production reached 447,450 in total.
