Al-Modawat says the expansion will increase the number of inpatient rooms by 23% and medical clinics by 12%
Al-Modawat Specialized Medical Co., listed on the Nomu-Parallel Market, will begin full operation of the eastern wing expansion at its main hospital building on Oct. 15.
The expansion will increase the number of inpatient rooms by 23% and medical clinics by 12%, enhancing the hospital’s capacity to receive more patients and visitors while improving the overall quality of services provided, the company said in a statement to Tadawul today, Oct. 13.
Al-Modawat expects the expansion to have a positive impact on its financial results, starting in Q4 2025 and extending into Q1 2026.
The project aligns with the company’s broader expansion strategy, aimed at meeting the growing demand for its medical services and strengthening its operational capabilities, it added.
According to data available with Argaam, Al-Modawat‘s board of directors approved, in March 2024, the hospital expansion project due to high occupancy rates, with an estimated cost of SAR 3.2 million.
On Oct. 4, the company began operating 25% of the inpatient ward expansion in the east wing of the main hospital building.
