Investcorp Capital will invest in Golden Horizon Platform.
Investcorp Capital PLC, established by Investcorp Group and listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), announced its investment in the Golden Horizon Platform, managed by Investcorp.
Investcorp completed its final funding round of $750 million with support from China Investment Corporation (CIC).
The platform primarily focuses on investments across the GCC region through the Investcorp Saudi Pre-IPO Growth Fund (SPIPO). It has also secured additional commitments from a group of institutional investors and limited partners, including Jada Fund of Funds (a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund), Silk Road Fund, Bank of China, and other regional and Asian institutions.
Golden Horizon aims to invest in growth-oriented companies across sectors such as consumer goods, healthcare, transportation, logistics, and business services in the GCC and China.
The platform targets companies with expansion potential and sufficient operational maturity to pursue public listings or strategic exits through trade sales within three to five years. Through closer collaboration, Investcorp and CIC aim to help portfolio companies capture new growth opportunities and expand cross-border operations between the GCC and China.
The Investcorp Saudi Pre-IPO Growth Fund, which is part of the platform, has already made three investments in the GCC and continues to explore further opportunities in the region and China. These investments include NourNet, a Saudi ICT services provider; Trukker, a digital freight platform operating in Saudi Arabia and the UAE; and Salla, a Saudi SaaS platform enabling e-commerce.
