Saudi Fisheries recently received MEWA’s approval to renew Al Haridah farmland lease


Saudi Fisheries Co. (Alasmak) settled its financial obligations to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) and is now proceeding with the renewal and transfer of Al Haridah farmland lease in the Asir region.

 

The farmland spans 7,500 hectares, the company said in a statement to Tadawul, adding that any developments on this matter will be announced in due course.

 

According to data available with Argaam, Saudi Fisheries recently received a letter of approval from MEWA regarding its request to renew the lease for Al Haridah farmland, following the settlement of the company’s financial dues.

 

The lease will then be transferred to Al-Hareedha Co. in accordance with the ministry’s procedures and regulations.
