Mobily Chairman, Deputy step down; Al Azzawi named new head

Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) said its board of directors approved on Oct. 21 the resignations of Chairman Abdulkarim AlNafie and Vice Chairman Nabeel AlAmudi from their positions for personal reasons. Both will remain on the board.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the board appointed current member Mutaz Al Azzawi as Chairman and AlNafie as Vice Chairman.

 

Mobily added that the appointments took effect today, Oct. 22, running until the end of the current board term on Nov. 30, 2028.
