Tadawul delists Buruj; implements MEDGULF capital raise following merger

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced the delisting of Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co. shares from the market at the end of trading on Oct. 27, 2025.

 

In a separate statement, Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) said it has applied the capital increase on Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co. (MEDGULF), resulting from its merger with Buruj through a securities exchange offer.

 

The increase was reflected in eligible shareholders’ portfolios today, Oct. 28, 2025, the statement highlighted.

 

According to data available on Argaam, shareholders of Buruj and MEDGULF recently approved the merger deal between the two companies.

 

Tadawul had suspended trading of Buruj shares on Oct. 26, 2025, to begin the delisting procedures.
