The Capital Market Authority (CMA) approved an application by Arbah Capital to float units of Arbah Saudi Equity Fund in a public offering, according to a website statement today, Nov. 3.
The regulator cautioned that making an investment decision without carefully reading the fund’s terms and conditions (T&Cs) or fully reviewing its contents may involve high risks.
It urged investors to read the T&Cs thoroughly, for containing detailed information about the fund, its investment strategy, and associated risk factors, to help assess the feasibility of investing.
Investors who find the T&Cs difficult to understand should contact the fund manager for clarification, the CMA added.
The authority stressed that its approval does not constitute a recommendation for offering subscription. It merely confirms the fund’s compliance with the legal requirements under the Capital Market Law and its implementing regulations.
