Naqi Water Co. said it received the second and final batch of 100,000 birds under its agreement with Al-Bayad Co. Ltd. to acquire key assets (layer chicks) for its poultry project, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The delivery completes the supply of 200,000 birds required to operate the company’s breeding facilities.

Naqi Water said the milestone marks a key phase in its table egg production project and paves the way for the start of commercial production and a gradual operational ramp-up in the coming period.

In August, Naqi Water signed a SAR 790,000 agreement with Al-Bayad to acquire layer chicks, which represented the first phase of the implementation plan for the poultry project, according to Argaam data.

The contract covers 200,000 Hisex layer chicks as part of the project’s vital supply plan.
