Amwaj appoints Karom Abdulrahman as Acting CEO after amicable exit of CEO

Amwaj International Co. said its board approved on Nov. 9 the request of CEO Mehdi Khlifawi to end his contract by mutual agreement, effective the same day, citing personal reasons.

 

The company said in a statement to Tadawul that Karom Abdulrahman has been appointed as Acting CEO, effective today, Nov. 10.

 

Abdulrahman brings over 17 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development, gained through leadership roles at local and regional companies. He joined Amwaj and advanced through several roles, most recently serving as Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing.

 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and possesses extensive expertise in management and strong business efficiency.
