Wafrah for Industry and Development Co. signed today, Nov. 11, an annual contract worth SAR 18 million with Ajwad U.T.C, one of the leading catering companies within the approved suppliers group for McDonald’s restaurants.

In a statement on Tadawul, the company said that under the contract, it will manufacture and pack tenderized chicken breast (tenders) in 2.5 kg × 4 carton packs under Ajwad’s private label, in line with agreed specifications and consecutive purchase orders. The product will be delivered throughout the contract period.

The contract runs for one calendar year from the signing date and will be automatically renewed while the financial impact is expected to appear starting from Q4 2025.

The agreement was signed by managing director Mohamed Al-Muzel on behalf of Wafrah, and by the business manager on behalf of Ajwad.

There are no related parties to the deal, the statement added.

Wafrah added that the upgrade and automation of its meat processing plant have attracted major clients to the company.
