TOURISE sees SAR 7B in tourism deals for Al Khobar

The 2025 TOURISE Forum in Riyadh witnessed major agreements and landmark projects worth over SAR 7 billion, aimed at developing integrated tourism destinations in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

 

The forum unveiled the Al Khobar Pier project fund, established in partnership with Ashraq Development Co., Ajdan Real Estate Development Co., and AlJazira Capital, to develop a 671,000 m² waterfront.

 

The project will feature more than 1,450 hotel rooms and units, alongside residential units under international hotel brands, in addition to retail, dining, and entertainment areas.

 

It also announced the signing of a financing agreement for the Rixos Half Moon Beach Resort in collaboration with the Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF), managed by BSF Capital and developed by FTG Development Co. The resort covers over 260,000 m², and will include 400 rooms, 41 luxury villas, and a range of recreational facilities.

 

This project comes as part of achieving an ambitious vision to attract foreign investments and expand luxury all-inclusive accommodation options, enhancing the Eastern Province’s position as a premier tourist destination.

 

The signing ceremony was held under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and attended by Tourism Minister and Chairman of the Tourism Development Fund (TDF) Ahmed Al Khateeb, along with Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih.
