Saudi banks’ loan portfolio reaches SAR 3.37 trillion in September 2025
Loans granted by Saudi banks to non-financial government entities (NFGEs) and private sector rose 14% to SAR 3.37 trillion by the end of September 2025, compared to roughly SAR 2.95 trillion in the same month a year earlier, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

Bank loans to the private sector grew 13% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 3.13 trillion in September, data showed.
Meanwhile, loans granted to NFGEs jumped 35% YoY to SAR 234.6 billion by the end of September.
