AlKhorayef Petroleum mulls IPO on Saudi market: Report

Saudi Arabia’s AlKhorayef Group has started preparations for a potential listing of its oil and gas services subsidiary, Bloomberg reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

 

The group reached out to firms that could help arrange a possible IPO of AlKhorayef Petroleum. Preparations are still in an early stage, and no decision has been yet taken on proceeding with the share sale.

According to Argaam data, AlKhorayef Petroleum is an oil and gas services company founded in 1980 and headquartered in Dammam. The company operates in 11 countries across the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, providing research and development (R&D), engineering, manufacturing and field services for its portfolio of artificial-lift products and solutions.

In 2023, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) signed a subscription agreement to acquire a 25% stake in AlKhorayef Petroleum. AlKhorayef Group owns the remaining 75% of the company.
