Middle East Pharmaceutical Industries Co. (Avalon Pharma) signed on Nov. 25 a two-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Benta SAS, for a partnership focused on localizing strategic and innovative products in Saudi Arabia.

The move aligns with Vision 2030 and the National Industrial Strategy, Avalon Pharma said in a statement on Tadawul today, Nov. 26.

The MoU sets a framework for collaboration in technology transfer, localization, and advanced technologies in manufacturing, combining Benta’s proven expertise and technical know-how with Avalon Pharma’s strong regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial foundation in the Kingdom.

There are no related parties to the MoU, the pharmaceutical producer added.
