QFIs net sellers of SAR 455.6M stocks on Tadawul last week

Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) were net sellers of SAR 455.6 million worth of stocks on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in the week ended Nov. 27, according to recent data issued by Tadawul.
QFIs accounted for 46.24% of total buys, compared with 48.3% of total sells during the same week.
Saudi institutions sold a net SAR 407 million worth of shares. Likewise, Saudi corporates and government entities were net sellers of stocks worth about SAR 304 million, and SAR 855 million, respectively. Mutual funds bought a net SAR 528 million worth of shares.
 
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) last week offered 48 million shares of Masar to institutional investors at SAR 19.8 apiece.
 
According to the weekly report on ownership value and trading activity published by Tadawul, net buys by retail investors reached about SAR 641 million.
 
Retail investors accounted for 19% of total purchases and 16.1% of total sells during the week.
