Theeb says major shareholder Mohammed Al-Dheeb reduced his ownership in the company by 4.65%
Theeb Rent a Car Co. said it was notified on Dec. 1 by its major shareholder Mohammed Ahmed Al-Dheeb of transferring two million shares—representing 4.65% of the company’s capital— to the investment portfolio of Mohammed Ahmed Al-Dheeb Co.
In a statement to Tadawul, Theeb added the move was completed after satisfying all required regulatory approvals from the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and other relevant authorities.
The ownership transfer has no impact on its strategic direction or financial commitments, Theeb confirmed.
Accordingly, Mohammed Al-Dheeb reduced his holding in Theeb to 20.35% from 25%, Argaam data showed.
