Benjamin Sarkozy, CEO of Voltstar Graphite, said the company qualified for the Saudi Industrial Development Fund’s (SIDF) Standard Incentives Program, becoming one of the first to receive accreditation in the “graphite electrodes” category in the initial batch.

He told Argaam that this qualification will support the company’s project in Saudi Arabia, helping it accelerate production to serve the local market and export abroad.

He said the company produces graphite electrodes and other graphite products for steel and metal industries, operates two production sites in China, and is currently studying the establishment of a high-tech production site in Saudi Arabia.

He added that the metals and automotive sectors will be central to industrial development in Saudi Arabia, considering this a major opportunity for the company.
