The 2026 budget showed the completion of the first phase of the Jafurah gas plant construction and commencement of production with a capacity of 450 million cubic feet per day.

Sustainable production is expected to reach 2 billion cubic feet of gas per day after the project is completed by 2030.

A total of 18 projects in the liquid fuel displacement program contributed to the displacement of 67,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and the total financial savings reached about 24.7 billion.

This played a role in achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative and reaching the Kingdom's net zero objective by 2060.
