US job growth beats forecasts in November

The US economy added more jobs than anticipated in November, after losing 105,000 jobs in the previous month, reflecting the continued flexibility and resilience of its labor market.

 

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Tuesday that the total number of employees in nonfarm sectors grew by 64,000 in November, surpassing the anticipated addition of 51,000 jobs.
