Wafrah appointed food industry veteran Khaled Al-Rashidi as Chief Executive Officer, effective Jan. 1, 2026
Wafrah for Industry and Development Co.’s board of directors appointed Khaled Al-Rashidi as CEO, aligning with the recommendation of the remuneration and nomination committee, according to a statement to Tadawul.
The appointment will take effect as of Jan.1, 2026.
Al-Rashidi has over 25 years of experience in the food sector. He specialized in factory management, operations, supply chains, as well as food quality and safety. Further, Al-Rashidi has held leadership positions at Herfy, PepsiCo, and Almarai, achieving tangible results in improving efficiency, reducing costs, and driving operational transformation.
He holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, in addition to professional certifications in food safety, quality, internal systems auditing, and others.
According to Argaam data, Wafrah approved, in December 2024, CEO Ryan Al-Mansour's request, not to renew his contract due to personal circumstances, effective Jan. 30, 2025.
The company then appointed Abdullah Al-Shehri as Acting CEO, effective Feb. 1, 2025. In July 2025, it terminated his assignment and appointed Mohammed Almuzel as Managing Director until the end of the board’s current term on Jan. 13, 2027.
