Lana Medical Co. announced today, Dec. 17, being awarded a SAR 11.8 million project with the Ministry of Health, covering the provision of consumables and essential supplies for managing hazardous healthcare waste at the Northern Borders Health Cluster.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the project will run for 60 Gregorian months, starting from the date of site handover following contract signing and approval by the Ministry of Finance, in line with the project’s specifications and bills of quantities.
Lana expects the financial impact to be reflected from the first quarter of 2026, confirming that there are no related parties to the deal.
The company said the award aligns with its strategy to strengthen its leadership in the Kingdom’s environmental services sector and supports its expansion into integrated healthcare waste management solutions, focusing on improving service quality, applying global best practices, supporting national initiatives to curb pollution and enhance public health, and achieving sustainability by reducing the environmental impact of transport and disposal operations.
It added that the project underscores its capability to execute large-scale projects within healthcare facilities to the highest technical and operational standards.
