LIVA receives Shariah compliance certification

LIVA confirmed its compliance with the Sharia guidelines as of Dec. 17, 2025

LIVA Insurance Co. announced that its Sharia Advisor, namely Shariyah Review Bureau (SRB), and its appointed Sharia Supervisory Committee (SSC) have reviewed the company's activities, in light of Shariah specifications, as adopted and interpreted by the Shariah guidelines (SG).

The company confirmed its compliance with the Shariah guidelines as of Dec. 17, according to a Tadawul statement.

The key activities reviewed and certified include the separation of accounts for shareholders and policyholders, investments made by shareholders and policyholders, and insurance policies.

The SSC will work with SRB to continue leading the ongoing supervision and monitoring of LIVA with regard to the above-mentioned activities and related processes from a Shariah perspective. It will also administer the annual Shariah audit in accordance with the AAOIFI-GSIFI No. 2.
