Middle East Specialized Cable Co.’s (MESC) board of directors approved today, Dec. 24, appointing Christian Scholz as CEO, effective as of Jan. 1, 2026.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that Scholz holds a Bachelor's degree in international control and management from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen, Germany.

 

He has over 20 years of experience in the cable and wire industry across different fields, such as low voltage infrastructure, telecommunications, household appliances, among others.

 

This is besides his extensive expertise in strategy and business development, restructuring, regulatory solutions, program management, and operations, it added.

 

According to Argaam’s data, MESC’s board approved, on Feb. 6, the resignation of former CEO Fadhil Al-Saadi, effective as of March 31, citing personal reasons.
