Saudi chemicals exports decreased by 9.7% month-on-month in October: General Authority for Statistics


Saudi Arabia’s exports of chemical industry products and related goods fell 5% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 6.56 billion in October 2025, the General Authority for Statistics reported.

 

Compared with September 2025, chemical exports declined by SAR 707.1 million, or 9.7%.

 

Chemicals and related products made up 19.4% of the Kingdom’s non-oil exports, which totaled SAR 33.9 billion in October.

 

 

India was the largest importer of Saudi chemicals, receiving nearly SAR 1.7 billion worth, or 26% of total chemical exports. China and the UAE followed with 12.1% and 6%, respectively.

Saudi Arabia’s imports of chemical industry products and related goods reached SAR 6.58 billion in October, down 1% YoY.

  

Chemical imports accounted for 8% of the total imports of SAR 80.1 billion, as shown in the following table:
