GASTAT releases its Labor Force Survey


Saudi Arabia’s unemployment rate among nationals rose to 7.5% in the third quarter of 2025, up from 6.8% in the second quarter, according to the Labor Force Survey released by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT), today, Dec. 29.

 

The unemployment rate among Saudi males stood at approximately 5%, while the rate among Saudi females reached around 12.1%.

 

Meanwhile, the unemployment rate among non-Saudis was 1.4%.

 

According to Labor Force Survey estimates, the overall unemployment rate for the working-age population rose to 3.4% in Q3 2025, compared with 3.2% in Q2 2025.
