Al Jouf Cement reinstates MD role, appoints Bakr Sindi

Al Jouf Cement appoints Bakr Sindi as MD, effective Jan. 4

Al Jouf Cement Co.’s board of directors decided to revoke a previous decision that canceled the Managing Director position, reinstating the role within the approved organizational structure, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The board appointed Bakr bin Atef Sindi as a Managing Director, effective as of Jan. 4.

Sindi has more than 25 years of professional experience in the fields of institutional transformation, governance, supply chains, and strategic planning.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from King Abdulaziz University and has held leadership positions in several industrial and financial entities, in addition to previous memberships on multiple boards of directors.
