Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. received, on Jan. 1, the Insurance Authority's (IA) approval to appoint non-executive member Abdullah Al-Musa as Chairman, and non-executive member Naif Al-Sudairi as Vice Chairman.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the board’s committees have been formed, including the executive committee, the nomination and remuneration committee, the investment committee, and the risk management committee.
Fahad Al-Harbi was also appointed as Board Secretary.
The executive committee consists of four members, while the nomination and remuneration, investment, and risk management committees each have three members.
The company noted that disclosure regarding the receipt of AI’s non-objection and the approval for forming the audit committee will be made in a separate announcement in accordance with regulatory requirements.
According to data available with Argaam, Amana Insurance’s shareholders approved in November 2025, the election of board members from among the nominees for the next term, starting Nov. 9, 2025, to Nov. 8, 2029, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM).
