Edaa credited bonus shares of AOL to shareholders’ portfolios
The Securities Depository Center (Edaa) said it has credited bonus shares of Academy of Learning Co. (AOL) to shareholders’ portfolios on Jan. 6, according to a statement to Tadawul.
AOL shareholders had approved a board recommendation to increase the company’s capital through a bonus share distribution at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Jan. 1.
The capital increase will be funded by capitalizing SAR 45 million from retained earnings, representing a 50% increase, or one bonus share for every two shares held, Argaam data showed.
