Naf awarded ISO 22000:2018 certification for food safety management

Naf Co. for Feed for Industry obtained the ISO 22000:2018 certification, the internationally recognized standard for Food Safety Management Systems, under certificate number (20154263096704), according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The certification was granted by TÜV Austria, an accredited certification body approved by the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAC) and is valid until Jan. 6, 2029, the statement added.

 

This certification was awarded after the company successfully met all internationally approved requirements and standards in the field of food safety, including the effective management of risks associated with the animal feed production chain.

 

This achievement represents a strategic milestone that reflects the company’s commitment to implementing global best practices in the manufacturing of safe and high-quality animal feed, the company stated.

 

It further enhances the confidence of customers and business partners and strengthens the Company’s competitive position in the feed manufacturing sector, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to support food quality and the safety of supply chains, Naf noted.

 

The company additionally reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to continuously developing its operational and production systems in accordance with the highest international standards, elevating levels of quality and food safety, creating added value for its customers, and contributing to the support of food security in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
