Mouwasat Medical Services Co. received today, Jan. 21, the final license from the Ministry of Health for its new hospital in Yanbu Industrial City.

The company said in a Tadawul statement that it will begin receiving patients from Feb. 1, 2026.

All mechanical and medical system checks, calibrations, and necessary tests have been completed, and the required medical and administrative staff are in place for full operations, the statement added.

The company expects the hospital’s financial impact to be reflected in group results starting in Q1 2026.

According to Argaam data, Mouwasat completed construction and began trial operations for its hospital in Yanbu last September.

The hospital project was approved in December 2018, with a SAR 295 million contracting deal signed in June 2022.

Total construction and operational costs are estimated at SAR 500 million for a 40,000-square-meter facility, including 200 beds and 60 clinics.
