Saudi quick-commerce startup Ninja seeks to expand into the pharmacy sector as part of its plans to strengthen its presence across new sectors in the Saudi market, Spokesperson Hani Abdulhadi told Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper.
Ninja continues to expand across multiple sectors across the Kingdom, following its entry into the grocery and beauty products segments. However, it is now focused on boosting its footprint in pharmacies, according to the spokesman.
He added that the company has begun expanding beyond Saudi Arabia by entering the Qatari, Bahraini, and Kuwaiti markets, with further expansion under consideration.
Abdulhadi noted that intense competition in the delivery sector is prompting the company to enhance its operational capabilities and improve efficiency. He said Ninja is investing heavily in its infrastructure to support expansion across its operating segments and strengthen its competitive position.
According to Argaam data, Bloomberg, citing sources, reported in September 2025 that Ninja was working on appointing banks to advise on a potential initial public offering, which could take place early this year.
Established in 2022, Ninja provides a digital shopping platform covering a range of sectors, including groceries, household goods, personal care products, digital pharmacy, and restaurants.
