Saudi Chemical expects trial operation to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026
Saudi Chemical Co. Holding said its subsidiary will establish a highly efficient and advanced production line to replace the existing line at its industrial complex in Atshanah.
The estimated investment in the upgrade is around SAR 59.19 million, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The move is part of the company’s strategic plan to support the mining and civil development sectors by enhancing the operational efficiency of its factories.
The new production line will be developed in collaboration with HTD Kimya, a manufacturer specializing in such plants.
The trial operations are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with commercial production slated to start in Q1 2027.
The production line will be financed through the company’s internal financial resources. The contractor for the project will be announced at a later date.
Based on the size and scope of the investment, the upgrade and replacement process will have no material financial impact either on the group’s consolidated financial statements or the company’s obligations to its customers, the statement said.
