Walaa obtains IA’s final approval on product

Walaa Cooperative Insurance Co. received on Jan. 19 the final approval of the Insurance Authority (IA) to market and sell its new insurance product, “Professional Athletes Injury Insurance,” to group clients in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the product has been approved under the registration number (F-WALA-1-C-26-107).

The product provides professional athletes with insurance coverage through clubs, federations, associations, or national teams, offering financial protection against injuries that may cause temporary or permanent disability, the statement added.
