Arabian International Healthcare Holding Co.’s (Tibbiyah) board of directors approved on Jan. 25 the non-renewal of contract of current CEO, Christophe Lala, by mutual consent, effective Feb. 28.

 

According to a statement on Tadawul, the board appointed Mohamed Mostafa as CEO, effective March 1, 2026, based on the nomination and remuneration committee’s recommendation.

 

Mostafa’s responsibilities will include leading and overseeing the ongoing business transformation, supporting organic growth initiatives, advancing the evaluation and execution of selective inorganic growth opportunities, and strengthening innovation, including digital health solutions and innovative healthcare initiatives.

 

Mostafa holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in systems engineering and biomedical engineering, in addition to a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

 

He has also completed several executive leadership and strategy development programs, and brings more than 28 years of leadership experience across healthcare systems, medical technologies and digital health transformation in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, the statement said.

 

Mostafa most recently served as vice president – healthcare systems at Philips for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, where he led large-scale health transformation programs, public-private partnerships and national initiatives across multiple clinical domains.
