Saudi Cable MD resigns, Faris Al-Rajhi takes over

Saudi Cable Co. (SCC) said its Managing Director, Khalid Khashogji, resigned from his position, effective Jan. 27.

He will, however, remain a member of the board of directors and the CEO, the company said in a Tadawul statement.

 

Saudi Cable noted that the resignation was made to allow him to focus on the requirements of the next phase and in the best interest of the company.

 

The company stated that its board of directors appointed Faris Al-Rajhi as Managing Director, effective Jan. 27.

 

Al-Rajhi has over 20 years of experience in corporate management, business development, and oversight of multiple commercial and industrial entities.

 

He has also held board memberships in several companies and occupied various leadership positions throughout his career.

 

Al-Rajhi holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from King Saud University (KSU).

 

He held senior positions and board memberships at several companies, including Tourism Enterprises Co. (Shams), Methanol Chemicals Co. (Chemanol), Qabas Al Taqnia Trading Co., World Box Factory Co. and Haikaliyah Contracting Co.

 

He has also served as CEO of Dkhoun National Trading Co., Nafaes Dkhoun Perfume Co., Aqar Real Estate Co. and NAMA Real Estate Co., the statement added.
