Aramco plans to raise $4B from sale of gas-fired power plants: Report

Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) is preparing to sell some gas-fired power plants in the coming weeks, Reuters reported, citing sources.

 

The transaction is expected to raise around $4 billion, the sources said.

 

According to data available with Argaam, Reuters reported last July that Aramco was looking to sell up to five gas-fired power plants.
