Saudi Fisheries Co. (Asmak) terminated the previously signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Arabian Agricultural Services Co. (ARASCO).

According to a statement to Tadawul, the company clarified that the MoU was terminated without reaching a mutual agreement between the two parties and without any obligation on either side.

According to Argaam’s data, Asmak had signed a non-binding MoU with ARASCO in October 2021. The MoU was aimed at exploring future cooperation regarding the manufacturing and commercial operation of the company’s under-construction aquatic animal feed plant in Al-Haridah, Asir.

The MoU was extended twice until the project was discontinued in October 2022.

In February 2025, the company signed a non-binding MoU with ARASCO to establish a general framework for cooperation in animal feed, define the scope of work, and explore potential partnership opportunities.
